Departure from Boca Manu
On the way back up the river to Atalaya, we stopped occasionally at a small outpost. At one of them I spotted a baby capybara who was the pet of one of the villagers. I reached down to pet him and he began earnestly sucking my finger. Unfortunately I was unable to arrange for a picture of this little guy dangling from my hand.
